Our well-established dental practice is growing and we’re looking for just the right family member to join our business staff team. The front desk is the heart of a dental practice. You will be one of our patients’ first points of contact - the face and voice that launches our relationships with new patients and maintains a positive connection with our existing patients. A professional extrovert demeanor, a patient, caring attitude, computer proficiency, and the drive to excel – these are our minimum expectations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hospitality, patient and/or customer service experience, like to verbally communicate and not be afraid of confrontation or rejection. The candidate will be willing to learn new things, accept responsibility and effectively work unsupervised with interruptions, objectively analysis situations, have a perpetual smile, a contagious “can-do” attitude and be flexible, open and honest.  In this role, organization and follow through, energy, and focus are also important, as well as reliability, stamina, and the ability to listen, be empowered, and take direction, but knows how to prioritize tasks within the day. Your education, prior experience, and your business or technical skills enhance your overall suitability. Social Media skills a plus. We can train the right person. This is a part time position, where we provide care from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Mondays, 8:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 7:00am to 4:00pm on Thursdays. Occasional Friday hours may be necessary; as well as infrequent evenings or weekends and travel for continuing education.
