Pokanoka's Walk / Run

The Pokanoka’s Run/Walk is a family-friendly event, fun for all ages! For the first time ever, the event has moved from July 4th to September 28th with the hopes of cooler weather and exposure to the beautiful fall scenery! Participation in the event benefits Safe Passage, DeKalb County’s Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Center. The trail run is a 10K (6.2 miles) and the walk is 1.8 miles. Awards will be given to the top 3 male runners and top 3 female runners! Everyone will receive a participation medal.
