Visit an actual Civil War Encampment right at Knights Park. See the soldiers' tents and weapons, learn how their meals were cooked, and find out what they carried in their knapsacks. The 10th Illinois Regiment brings history to life as each member portrays a soldier from the Sandwich area that enlisted during the Civil War. This is a free event.
