To end off May's Mental Health Awareness Month, the Ben Gordon Center Foundation will be holding its fourth Call for Help Telethon. Millions of Americans are living with the burden of a mental health problem. They shoulder depression and anxiety, post-traumatic stress and bi-polar disorder -- debilitating illnesses that can strain every part of a person's life. The Call for Help Telethon is a day to focus our efforts to address mental health problems in DeKalb County. Please consider giving whatever you can, no matter how little the donation, it will make a difference. The Call for Help Telethon will be taking place on May 30th, from 10:00am - 5:00pm at Hy-Vee. All donations will benefit mental health and substance abuse and services at the Ben Gordon Center. For more information to get involved, call Michelle LaPage, Development Director, at (815) 756-4875, e-mail her at bgcml@bengordoncenter.org, or visit www.bengordoncenter.org.
