During the mid-century modernism movement, women made exceptional design contributions in textiles, art, architecture and interior design. Though these artists were monumental, their brilliance was not fully recognized at the time. Stacy Hand, will be speaking about some of the truly great designers such as Ray Eames and Aino Aalto to illuminate their role in bringing a modernist aesthetic to the post-war interior. Following the presentation guests will be shuttled to the House for a Belladonna Tea & Coffee 50’s inspired tea and continued conversation.
