Welcome!

The Sandwich Fair, first started as an annual livestock show in DeKalb County. Held yearly, Wednesday–Sunday after Labor Day since 1888, it is one of the oldest continuing county fairs in the state of Illinois.  Large crowds stroll throughout the beautiful tree lined grounds, all five days of the fair, which has something of interest for everyone.

Children Free Day- Wednesday, September 4-  Children 12 and under are free

Senior Day-Thursday, September 5-  Fair goers 55 and over get in for $6 before 5pm

Bargain Day- Friday, September 6-  Everyone admitted for $6 before 5pm

Sunday, September 8- After 3pm everyone admitted for $6

Wed, Sept 4: 3pm – Close -$25 per person on site purchase

Thurs, Sept 5: 1pm – Close-$30 per person on site purchase

Fri, Sept 6: Noon – 5pm-$25 per person on site purchase

No wristband rides on Sat, Sept 7

Sun, Sept 8: 10am – 6pm-$25 per person on site purchase

On-line pre-sold ride wristbands are valid any ONE day and will be sold online prior to the fair until midnight of September 3rd for $20 per wristband and one service fee per order. (order multiple wristbands at at time for one service fee)  (Not Valid on Saturday)  Link coming summer 2019 for wristband pre-sale.

Fees/Admission:

Tickets are available at the entrance gate after parking. Parking is included with admission.  Adult $10, Child 6-12 $6, 5 and under is free.  Please take advantage of the promotional day to get in at discounted rates during the fair.

 

Season Tickets

  • Purchase 5-day season tickets in advance, or at the gate.  Adult $22, Child 6-12 $8
  • Parking at the fair is included with admission!
  • Early pick up and pay September 2 and September 3 (2019) at the Main Gate, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Mail-in advance season tickets are available by filling out the season ticket request form.  Click here to order your season tickets. Ticket orders will be processed and mailed starting July 1st through August 21st.

Sheet of 20 Tickets: $25
